Learning to use Chopsticks

Another busy bag idea that I came out with. I wanted to let my little one
learn how to use a chopstick.
So I went to the supermarket to buy
an easy to learn chopstick with extra handle for beginers.
It has a little cute rabbit design on top, which is pretty awesome!

I place some colourful pompom balls, some big and some small ones
in a small pail for her to transfer
the little cute balls into a larger basket.
She was really happy to do so and keep on continuing
to practise her new found skill!
I was glad that she enjoy it.

Fun with Ice-cream sticks

Here is another idea that I reserach from the internet.
Since I have additional ice-cream sticks
hanging around in the kitchen;
I must well make this little project for
my little one to occupy her time with.
It is simple and easy to make.
I just align all the sticks together and draw
a cute picture for my little one to arrange it later.
For the painting part, I use acrylic paint.
Easy right!

Intro to busy bags!

I have been staying home a lot with my child and as she grows older I find that she has more energy and I need something to occupy her all the time. Instead of letting her watch the television all the time which is really bad for her eyesight, I research on some ideas in the net and come out with this busy bags that I can let her play with.
It is cheap and easy to make; furthermore it helps her on developing her fine motor skills too, which is a plus!
So here I have highlighted a few things that I made for her.
This is a Buttonhole Ribbon snake.
It is simple and easy to make.
I bring this everywhere we go to occcupy her time,
especially while waiting for food at the restaurant!
It is a ready to go toy!
This Ribbon snake also helps her to learn how to button her blouse.
To make this: See this post for more detailed instructions on how to make a Button Snake.
This one is pretty cool, My kid loves it.
Everytime when grandma do the laundry, she will help it out.
This time she has her own little clothes to hang out in the sun.
She can play with this often like everyday. She learn about sunny days and rainny days too!
This is really an awesome idea for little outdoor fun.
The clothes are pretty easy to cut out from the felt fabrics
and buy some wooden pegs for her to hang her little clothes on a string!

One Cloudy Morning

 First session: Art Marbling
All the kids were having so much fun.... they call it a messy project.
But it was really fun for them and they enjoy it very much!

Second session: Mix Media Painting
All the children were busy colouring their apple tree using crayons then later they do stamping by using some acrylic paint!

Thrid session: Water Play
It was a sunny day, we had the tub fill with ice and water.
The kids were so busy enjoying the water play and they can't stop playing it over and over again!

Last session: I SPY game (Sensory box)
The children had a picture for them to find all the pieces in the box.
All children were busy picking up pieces of little toys from the box and did their best to find the toys hiden toys. Yes it was pretty messy but they were doing so well finding all the toys!
The sensory box is made of wood shavings. It is light and easy to clean.
No messy stuff for mommies....
which is a plus point and it can be kept for another sensory fun next time!

These are all the master pieces created by the children!

Our little playgroup did had fun and enjoy themselves.
Hope we will have more participants next time!

Additional photos will be posted to all mommies.
