Exciting Rock. Paper. Scissors Day!

It is a hot sunny day, and all children are excited about the Bunny making session with
our guests Artists from Cardpuccino, Ms. Cindy and Ms. Josie.
The fun begins with the children tracing and cutting away.
You can see how they love the scissors!
They cannot wait to start cutting the bunny ears.
Now the assembling begins, and tada..... here's the rock bunny!

Oh look how lovely my bunny is at the garden!
It loves being there too!

The second session starts by introducing to the children about paper sculpture.
Different techniques are being taught and
they start making them with some colourful papers.
Here's how their paper sculpture look like!
All in 3-dimensional  form!
Next we did some rock art painting. The children had fun painting it
but due to time constrain, they have to finish it at home!
Well, am glad to say they all had fun!
Thanks to our guest artist Cindy and Josie again.
Hope in future we will have more activities like these!

Lastly, thanks to all who participated.
You all make this playgroup fun and exciting!

Origami Christmas Fun in December

We are happy that Ms.Cherly Loh is able to come over and show the kids how to do Origami the fun way. As some of you may have know, she is the expert in this field! First Origami Guru in Malaysia. She has mastered her skills in Origami for many years in Japan. We are so happy to have her teaching the children!
All the kids are having fun making different things, we have two sessions, one for the younger kids, and another for the older children! They all have much fun doing it; especially the younger ones as it is their first attempt doing Origami!
The kids are happy to show off their creativity!
Here the older children are having their go on the Origami! Concentrating hard!
Second activity that we are doing is writing a personal letter to Santa Claus,
asking for their favourite toys... etc.
See they do their best colouring and writing!
 Here the letter......... so sweet!
Now, time for Xmas Goodies Jar!
This acitivity is to let the children use their 5 senses.
First the need to see, then smell the ingredients. They need to recognise them individually.
Then they get to use their fine motor skills to scoop each ingredients into the Jar.
See how they do it properly!
Now, they get to shake the jar, having some fun you see....

Last but not least, they get to taste it!
So by now they will recognise the individual ingredients
with no problem!
Oh, they love it so much, cannot stop helping themselves too!

Time for gift exchange! A bit of chaos.... as there are so many children and less time!
But they were all happy singing Jingle Bells and opening their gifts!
They just could not wait till Christmas I guess!

So they all are happy with their presents!
Did we all have fun?
Of course! Thanks for all mommies who help make this playgroup happening!

Little Baby Chefs

Here at CAP, we have organised a mini Baking Class for all our members. Chef Alex and Vanessa from Ete cafe has agreed to hold a few classes to accomodate us all, as space are limited! After much discussions we have arrange it into 3 classes. All little chefs get to participate and all mothers will stand by and become their helper, sounds fun eh? Here we have our Chef Alex who is from Taiwan and learnt Pastry skills in France, explaining to all of us how to prepare and make cookies!

As you can see, here all the mommies are helping their little chefs. Little chefs also enjoying making the cookie dough.

Doing it myself.....

We are learning how to make the cookie dough, mixing, squeezing, rolling.
See how I do it.... am moulding the cookies.

Now decorating the cupcakes..... myself!

Concentrating hard on the designs....

Need some help from mummy!

Yummy yum delicious!

See what we make! Finally it is out!

Now you see, our cookies are done! Yay!

Special thanks to Chef Alex and Vanessa, all mommies and children had so much fun!
